Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Neulee Snap browser extension (the “Extension”), provided by Freetage Labs, LLC (“Freetage Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.
1. What Neulee Snap does
Neulee Snap adds a hover action to certain websites that lets you copy images, download images, and extract text from images — either via on-device OCR (Pro) or via a third-party AI provider using your own API key. The Extension acts only on images that are already visible and accessible to you in your own browser.
2. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for your own lawful use, subject to these Terms. A Pro purchase grants you a license to the Pro features for the device profiles associated with your purchase; it does not transfer ownership of any software to you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Extension to circumvent technical protection measures or digital rights management (DRM). The Extension is not designed for and must not be used on DRM-protected content.
- Use the Extension to infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Violate the terms of service of any website you use the Extension on (for example, the platforms’ own rules).
- Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or to collect content you are not authorized to access.
You are solely responsible for how you use any images or text you capture, including respecting the intellectual-property and other rights of content owners.
4. Third-party API keys and services
Cloud text extraction requires your own account and API key with a third-party provider (Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI). You are responsible for those accounts, your keys, your compliance with those providers’ terms, and any usage fees they charge. The Extension also relies on ExtensionPay and Stripe for purchases. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data.
5. Pro purchase
Pro is a one-time purchase of US $20, processed through ExtensionPay and Stripe. Pricing and included features may change for future purchases, but a completed purchase is governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that text extraction (OCR) will be accurate or complete, that the Extension will work on every website or layout, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Websites change frequently and may affect functionality.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freetage Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or US $20 if you have made a Pro purchase).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Freetage Labs from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Extension or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate the Extension or these Terms if you violate them or as needed to comply with law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
